TecTuff® and PORON® provide additional protection and an air bag cushion in the heel softens the step. POROM® Extreme Impact Protection for the ankles is soft to the touch yet instantly “freezes” upon impact providing superior protection. It absorbs up to 90% of the energy generated on impact yet it is flexible and lightweight for greater comfort. Designed with a round toe lacing is accomplished with metal reinforced logo eyelets. There is a Bar And Shield® logo badge at the top of the outside-facing shaft just under a rolled cushioned cuff. The boots are made with full-grain leather uppers with TecTuff® overlays for superior abrasion oil and stain resistance. Your foot is cushioned with a full-length mesh lining. Putting on and taking off these boots is made easy with YKK® locking inside zippers the best zippers available. There is also an additional outside facing air vent zipper for those extremely hot days. Extra protection is provided with additional layers of leather on the heels.
